Super deals await holiday-goers

Berjaya Hotels & Resorts recently re-introduced its annual Super Deals by offering RM100,000 worth of holiday vouchers to six local destinations, in collaboration with Big Apple Donuts and Coffee.
Ninety-seven winners will receive holiday vouchers for six local destinations in Kuala Lumpur, Berjaya Hills, Langkawi, Redang, Tioman and Penang.
All one has to do to stand a chance to win is to buy a half a dozen doughnuts from any of the 16 Big Apple Donuts and Coffee outlets, answer three questions on the coupon, and drop it in one of the contest boxes available in the outlets before June 8.
Besides the lucky draw, for every six doughnuts they buy, customers will also get a stamp which can be which can be redeemed for more doughnuts and Berjaya holiday destination cash rebates.
“Our Super Deals has been around for the past 10 years, but this is the first time we are working hard hand-in-hand with Big Apple Donuts and Coffee to promote the packages,” said Berjaya Hotels & Resorts sales & marketing vice-president Lynn Oh at the launch of the holiday promotion.
Super Deals offers special packages for holidays in Malaysia and Singapore (minimum three days/two nights) from march to Ocotber.
The packages, offered at affordable prices, are to island getaways in Langkawi, Redang and Tioman, city destinations in Kuala Lumpur, penang and Singapore, or the highland retreat of Berjaya Hills.
In conjunction with the tie-up, Big Apple Donuts and Coffee has come up with six doughnuts which symbolize the destinations owned by Berjaya Hotels & Resorts.
“The new Berjaya-flavoured doughnuts are Lang-kiwi, Redang White Sand, Tioman Sun-Kissed , Berjaya Hills French Romance, Times Square Big Apple Cinnamon and Nuts Over Penang, which come in custom-designed boxes,” said Berjaya Hotels & Resorts marketing communications director Thang Han-Ni.
She said the idea is to promote local destinations and remind Malaysians that there is no need to travel out of the country when there is an abundance of island, highland and city holiday destinations that Berjaya Hotels & Resorts has to offer.
“This year, we are celebrating our first anniversary and we are proud to celebrate it in collaboration with Berjaya,” said Big Apple Donuts and Coffee managing director Mike Chan.
He said the company, which has 16 outlets in the country, is planning to open more outlets locally, and expand its business overseas.
Berjaya and Big Apple have also launched an “Online Personality Quiz” in which web visitors can answer three questions to win holiday vouchers.
