Love is in the air

BERJAYA Hotels & Resorts’ Love Me ‘Do! campaign has attracted over 1,800 couples to register on its website, all hoping to win the top prize of a RM100,000 sponsored wedding.

The Top 50 couples have been selected and the public will get to vote whoever they think deserve to win by logging on to www.lovemedo.com.my.

"The Top 50 couples will have short videos of themselves on the Video Gallery," said Thang Han-ni, director of marketing and communications, Berjaya Hotels & Resorts.

"Needless to say, it helps when they make their video as creative and quirky as possible so that they can attract more voters to support them throughout the competition.

"We are currently at phase two of Love Me ‘Do! and the couples would need a lot of support from their ‘fans’ to journey on to phases three and four.

"Many exciting activities and prizes from our sponsors await the couples who successfully continue on to the next stages."

Thang said members of the public can visit the website and find out more about each couple before choosing their favourite. The couples will also post their experiences as they move from one phase of the competition to the next.

The 50 selected couples now stand a chance to be in the running to win a beach wedding at Berjaya Langkawi Beach & Spa Resort, designed by Nupts & Such; candid moments captured by world-renowned photographer Edmund Tham; décor by Confetti; glitzy footwear by Charles & Keith; Pedro, the ultimate couple fragrance by Ralph Lauren Romance; splashes of colour makeup by Shu Uemura; styling by Centro for L’Oréal Professionnel and a customised built-in wardrobe in their home by Signature Kitchen.

Launched on Sept 30, 2008, Love Me ‘Do! has since added more partners to its growing sponsors list. Among the new partners on board are Signature Kitchen, Clark Hatch, New Zealand Natural, 7-Eleven, U Mobile and Borders.

Voters also stand a chance to win attractive prizes from Dec 6 to 15. The first 50 voter registrations of each day will win vouchers or products from U Mobile, Photobook, 7-Eleven, Clark Hatch, Starbucks, Charles & Keith or Beverly Hills Bodyline.

The public can also visit Borders’ outlets to check out its special Love Me ‘Do! ‘Couple’s Corner’, which features selected books, CDs and merchandises. Each minimum purchase of RM80 from the Couple’s Corner will entitle the purchaser to a special Love Me ‘Do! memento.

The fourth and final phase of Love Me ‘Do! culminates in Mid-March 2009 when the name of the winning couple will be announced.
