Donning their pre-selected wedding attire, four couples will be whisked away to Berjaya Hills for a highland-castle wedding while three couples will be photographed at Berjaya Times Square Hotel and Convention Centre in a chic and cosmopolitan style.
The four couples who will be photographed at Berjaya Hills are Lee Chun Boon and Louise Chu, Kelvin Teo Seh Kiat and Kimberly Yap Huay Sean, Lim Meng Fong and Khor Hui Ming, Cheah Kei Yuen and Poo Ming Lee.
The couples to have their photos shot at Berjaya Times Square are Daniel Soo and Yeo Wei Nee, Lim Hsien Han and Wong Bee Hong, Ng Chor Hao and Lau Ee Von.
Berjaya Hotels & Resorts marketing and communications director Thang Han-Ni said the selection of the couples for the two different photo shoots was determined by Berjaya based on a series of questions and answers.
For the photo shoot, the seven couples will be styled by the make-up professionals of She Uemura, hairstylists of Centro for L’Oreal Professional and adorned with accessories by Yuan Jewellery, while their bridal bouquets are decorated by Confetti.
A gown-fitting session recently saw the seven enthusiastic brides-to-be, accompanied by their partners, trying on different dresses sponsored by That Special Occasion.
The gown-fitting session was a part of the many rewards to come for the top seven couples. Their partners were not left out either as they got their measurements taken for tailor-made suits too which are sponsored by Bespoked.
Kris Wong, who manages That Special Occasion, said he and his team of designers had ready-made gowns short-listed for the brides based on what they thought would best suit the brides.
"However, the brides can also choose from other gowns that we have on the racks," Wong said, adding the gowns selected by the seven ladies are loaned especially for the bridal photo shoot session.
The final winner of Love Me Do, however, will have a dress worth RM2,500 custom-made by Wong and his team.
Asked on tips to select "the" dress, Wong said: "You should always trust your instincts - if you see a gown you like, hang on to it!"
The online wedding contest received 1,850 entries that were carefully narrowed down to 31 contestants in phase one based on their personalities and creativity of their answers in the contest registration.
In phases two, three and four, voters will determine which couple gets shortlisted to the top seven, top three and the final winner of the contest.
The public can start voting for their favourite top couple from now until Feb 23.
The final winner will be announced on March 6.
The prize is a fully-paid-for beach wedding reception on April 23 at Berjaya Langkawi Beach and Spa Resort with 58 of their closest friends and family, complimentary a three-day, two-night stay in the bridal suite at Berjaya Langkawi Beach & Spa Resort, nine complimentary twin-sharing rooms for the couple’s guests at Berjaya Langkawi Beach & Spa Resort and prizes from participating sponsors all worth RM 100,000.
